Rancho Cucamonga Housing

Wow they are building houses like crazy out in the desert, endlessly. These pictures were taken off the new 210 freeway in San Bernardino County in Rancho Cucamonga.

Here is a before image of housing under construction. Notice the newly planted palm trees not yet untied, and of course the smog.

And here is a pic from the other side of the freeway of a completed section of houses. More Smog.

Gold Prowler on LA River Bridge

Today out running some errands we took some more pics. It is not uncommon to see flashy sports cars all over Los Angeles. Today we had to go to Studio City. This picture was taken on Vineland over the Los Angeles River. I got lucky and caught this gold prowler in the shot. On the left you can see the blue sign that says “Los Angeles River”.

The Los Angeles River

So we stopped to take pictures today of the Los Angeles River. It was a rather warm and very smoggy day, as can be seen in the distance. Its summer and dry right now, so the level of the water is quite low. When it was raining earlier this year, and flooding in some places, the Los Angeles River was filled with torrential waters.

Purple Chevy SSR Convertible

While cruising Southern California, you often see”beautiful people” in flashy cars like convertibles, often on their cell phones.

Here is a blonde lady driving a purple convertible Chevy SSR on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, at an intersection on her cell phone.

I bet that thing uses a lot of gasoline!
